One Valpy is a contemporary building located in the heart of Reading's central business district and is only a 2-minute walk to the high street which is a great advantage for the tenant staff working there. The building attracts a mix of occupiers ranging from leading technology companies to household brands. Everything about this building, from the welcome you receive from the 5-star concierge team to the urban office space make it stand out from the crowd. One Valpy prides itself on providing an exceptional reception service, making visitors feel like a VIP from the moment they step into the building, to the moment they leave.
With a new modernised reception area and exceptional concierge services, the Facilities Manager Hannah Lewis identified an urgent need to implement a new visitor management solution that not only looked good but was also quick and simple-to-use and allowed them to move away from the old and outdated paper signing in book process.
Part of the key requirement for the new visitor management system was the ability to view the fire evacuation roll call list quickly at the click of a button. The solution also needed to work for multiple tenants and be scalable to allow tenants to pre-book their visitors themselves. Advertico worked with the building to develop a solution that would deliver these key requirements and more.
We recently caught up with the front of house concierge team Chris and Rachel to deliver a request they had for a stand-alone version of the fire evacuation module. They wanted this module on a separate tablet to make it easier to conduct the roll call directly from the device. Advertico implemented this requirement at no extra cost and the team were absolutely delighted.
Chris said,"Thank you so much to the Advertico team for coming to One Valpy again and providing the extra support and fulfilling our requirement for a new tablet with the fire evacuation module. This has greatly helped with the evacuation process for the building making it quick and easy during an evacuation. As always, it is always great to see you guys and thank you once again."
